The Jovian hardfork upgrades the OP Stack to improve fee accuracy and fault proof security. It updates Cannon for Go 1.24 compatibility, adds new fee mechanisms (Minimum Base Fee and Data Availability Footprint Block Limit) to make L2 fees respond better to demand, and fixes operator fee settings for fair compensation and future features like Custom Gas Tokens.
The Fusaka hardfork is an upcoming Ethereum upgrade that changes core consensus and execution logic. Without adaptation, OP Stack chains could halt or misprice fees. Fusaka Readiness ensures continued operation through node, protocol, and contract updates.
