This vote uses approval voting. Voting is set up such that you can place a vote for any number of budgets and each vote will be cast with your full voting power. Any operating budget that receives a minimum number of yes votes, equal to 51% of quorum, will pass. Any budget that does not receive the required number of yes votes will not pass.

The following Councils and Board have been approved to continue in Season 8 and 9.

• The Developer Advisory Board Operating Budget for Season 8 and 9 is proposed by Ed/wildmolasses with an operating budget of 974k OP
• The Grants Council Operating Budget for Season 8 and 9 is proposed by Gonna.eth with an operating budget of 980k OP
• The Milestones & Metrics Council Operating Budget for Season 8 and 9 is proposed by PGov with an operating budget of 989.4k OP
• The Security Council Operating Budget for Season 8 and 9 is proposed by alisha.eth with an operating budget of 1.514.440 OP

If all above operating budget proposals are approved, the aggregate budget will exceed the approved total DAO Operating Budget of 4.4M. In that case, all budgets will be adjusted using the following method:

The onchain votes FOR each proposal will be tallied and total budgets will be adjusted pro-rata, based on the inverse of the percentage of approval votes. This means the higher the number of approval votes for a specific budget, the lower the budget adjustment applied.

This math will be calculated offchain, but anyone in the community will be able to verify the outcome with onchain outcomes here

Reductions will be made to the total OP budget for each Council or Board, and Leads will determine how that is distributed.

As an example, if all four groups receive identical amounts voted for, then each Budget will be reduced by 4,460 OP.
