this funds a renewal and expansion of the grants council, which has seen increasing interest and workload each season. gfx labs has announced that it is seeking re-election to its seat on the council.
we support the formation of op’s security council as a move towards decentralization. the phased initiation ensures a robust and transparent governance process. this proposal aligns with the principles of decentralized governance and the vision for the optimism superchain network.
trustworthy lead, good additions.
i think the grants council is doing heroes work!
not much to say here, we have followed the work done by the grants council from the outside and we know the workload that it really entailed last season, so the addition of new reviewers is reasonable. the same with the new challenges encountered, such as the tracking of appropriate proposals, so the new role conceived for milestones and metrics is also a natural step.
i am mentioned as a possible operation manager depending on the reviewer's election so i will abstain to avoid conflict of interest.
voting for the proposal.
having seen the hard work the council put in last season, it's clear to me that we need more reviewers to handle the growing interest in the mission applications. the previous season unveiled the substantial challenge of meticulously tracking all proposals, thus the introduction of a dedicated role for overseeing milestones and metrics makes a lot of sense. this proposal reflects a thoughtful iteration from past seasons, aimming to enhance and streamline the grant process. all in all, i believe this proposal help navigate the expanding workload efficiently, laying a solid foundation for theoptimism collective succeed in season 5.
i believe the monitoring of milestones and metrics will increase transparency and accountability within the collective, and i'm excited to see the council take this on.
great performance so far, keep it going!
i haven't been as active this season as prior ones. however, i still read my discourse summary emails, and one thing that is obvious from these emails is that there is less drama and less conflict. so assuming this higher level of unity is at least partially based on the grants council structure, then let's keep this baby going! voting for.
