A Collective member has proposed the dissolution of the Anticapture Commission in Season 8. As outlined in the Operating Manual, a persistent structure continues into the next Season unless a dissolution proposal is approved.
After three seasons, the ACC’s primary function of advocacy and mitigation of early capture risks is no longer essential due to governance changes, the absence of capture attempts, and reduced utility as the Token House will not vote on protocol upgrades.
You can read about the proposal in its entirety here.
If approved, the ACC’s operations will cease, the ACC’s delegation will be removed, and its functions may transition to other groups.
There is no counterproposal to continue the Anticapture Commission.
This proposal is eligible for Special Voting Cycle #39c.
