Ether actor has allowed front-end developers and blockchain developers to quickly query information in a evm and web friendly way without needing to deal with RPC endpoints, decoding transactions and providing a free service.
Syndicate has helped pay for hosting and I have worked with various RPC providers to keep this a free public goods service since it was created two years ago in 2021.
This tool has helped multiple developers building on the base, zora, and optimism ecosystem to integrate counts into spreadsheets, NFT minting websites, check transaction data easily without needing specific tools and needing to pay for an RPC provider since we work with providers to get enough bandwidth to run this service. We have served over 41 million requests and over 200 thousand within the optimism ecosystem, building out NFT support before alchemy supported NFTs on the optimism chains and adding base and zora support quickly for the superchain ecosystem.
