True P2P lending

Contribution

PWN is a peer-to-peer lending protocol designed for long-term mortgage-like loans of digital assets, backed by other digital assets. Borrowers can receive a fixed-duration loan of fungible tokens backed by fungible or non-fungible tokens, while lenders can earn interest by granting these loans. The protocol is trustless, and immutable. We are strong believers that the OP stack is a main pillar of Ethereum scaling. For this reason our platform provides an opportunity on the OP stack for borrowers to get peer to peer fixed terms loans and lenders to get rewarded for lending against ERC-20s, and NFTs (and soon RWAs).

Impact

We contributed directly to the Optimism ecosystem by deploying a P2P permissionless lending protocol. Our project also contributed by educating users about the benefits of prioritizing decentralized platforms. 1/PWN publishes the cryptonative economy reports to detail the self-sufficiency of our economy. We did one deep-dive on the origin of the fees generated for the year 2022 on Optimism inspiring readers to become cryptonative. We brought the cryptonative economy reports into local communities. We were published in the French media Le Journal Du Coin and interviewed by Czech podcasts. 2/We also have an ongoing series of interviews with cryptonatives. 3/We maintain gm.events. It's a page for crypto natives to list their value-aligned events for free.
