I believe that a DAO can only be as strong as its delegates and I seek to be an informed and participating member. My opinion on the priorities I think best put Optimism in a place to succeed are as follows:
Decentralized Identity: In the web's fragmented account landscape, where users have hundreds of usernames and passwords stored with centralized companies that regularly get compromised, a unified and decentralized identity solution is imperative. I will advocate for and support initiatives that enable a decentralized identity on the Superchain, ensuring that users can seamlessly navigate across platforms while owning their account. This effort is not just about enhancing user experience; it’s about laying the foundation for a more integrated and interoperable ecosystem. (ex. Ethereum Name Service and Sign in with Ethereum)
Social Graphs: With universal accounts comes vast opportunities for interoperability between apps. By knowing how wallets are related socially, apps can provide tremendous context to users that is helpful and insightful. (ex. Farcaster and Ethereum Follow Protocol)
Transparent Data: Transparency is a cornerstone crypto value that should scale to DAOs. Onchain metrics should be live, readily available, and easily understandable to DAO participants. (ex. Agora, L2Beat, and Onchain Clarity Co.)
