Web3 Onboard is Blocknative’s answer to delivering the best experience for developers and end users as they connect and engage across blockchains. Launched in 2019, it is the easiest way to add multi-wallet, multi-chain support to any project. With built-in modules for over 80 unique hardware, software, and browser wallets, Web3 Onboard saves time related to the UI and logic of connecting wallets to dapps throughout the EVM. Web3 Onboard is open-source, framework-agnostic JavaScript library accessible on Github. Developers can seamlessly connect users’ wallets to dapps, track wallet states, and match the UI of specific dapps. Transaction preview, an integrated feature, previews unsigned Ethereum transactions, which can help with testing and debugging transactions committed on-chain.

Web3 Onboard, one of the oldest and best maintained open source libraries, has wide adoption with 500,000+ user wallets connected, 130+ contributors, and 300+ community PRs. Web3 Onboard is used by Curve, Zapper, Compound, Iron Vank, Valk, Synthetix, Beefy, and many others. With native Optimism support added in 2022, users of 80+ wallets can transition effortlessly to and from Optimism when transacting on the most popular dapps in the ecosystem. Web3 Onboard ensures users have an intuitive, multi-wallet, multi-chain option for connecting to their any dapps from any wallet. We want all end users to feel comfortable playing games, interacting with defi, and connecting wallets. Optimism is natively integrated so any of the 500,000+ connected user wallets can switch to Optimism with a click.
