As of today, Layer2News includes 500+ projects in Optimism ecosystem, which is almost the largest Optimism ecosystem library and is updated weekly, users can learn about the project categories, tokens, funding and other information at Layer2News.
The Layer2News team takes a deeper look at each project and divides them as follows: Wallet, Bridge, DEX, DeFi, NFT Trade, NFT, Game, Social, Infra. We try to educate users that DEX can be subdivided into: AMM DEX, CFMM DEX, vAMM DEX, DMM DEX, CLMM DEX, and so on.
Because of our in-depth knowledge of each program, we rate the programs from information such as the program team, community buzz, program outlook, and program operations to avoid scams.
Layer2News also lists OP Stack and Layer2 chains based on OP Stack separately.
Impact
For new users, they may have clicked on the wrong link and downloaded a fake MetaMask wallet, and they may not know how to bridge assets to Optimism.
Until Layer2News was launched, we saw a large number of KOLs discussing Layer2News, which included the largest number of projects in the most concise presentation and provided shortcuts for new users to get started. Our initial intention is simple, users can know what the project is doing, whether the project should be involved or not, so that users can avoid being scammed, and so that users can find excellent projects with as few mouse clicks as possible.
At the beginning of Layer2News' launch, 2k-3k users browsed the site every day, and until today, there are 100+ users using Layer2News every day as well.
