StreamETH is a OSS, Web3 powered virtual event platform that enables censorship-resistant live streaming and hosts an immutable video content archive onchain. Throughout the past year, we've amplified and brought onchain 20+ major industry events such as Devcon 6, Devconnect, Zuzalu, and more. By streaming these events, we’ve exposed Ethereum's developments to global audiences, highlighting topics like L2s, Technical Decentralisation, ZK, and DAO Governance, while simultaneously eliminating traditional attendance barriers. By bringing workshops and presentations onchain, we've ensured their immutability, free from political censorship, bans, or other restrictions. In addition, we crafted four interviews about RetroPGF2’s impact to boost engagement and registrations for RetroPGF3.

Impact

Over the past year, we supported over 20 different communities from four different continents in decentralising their content distribution and created permanent archives on-chain for 11 of them. We distributed on-chain over 1.5k workshops, talks and panels and archived over 500 of them. From keynotes to workshops we archived the best minds in the space discussing topics that range from entry-level difficulty to blockchain specialist. Our livestreams and archives have been watched over 25k times and will forever be available to the Ethereum community, permissionless. The RetroPGF interviews counted 148.4k views, 91 comments, 41 bookmarks on Twitter. The opensourced StreamETH platform has been fully self funded by reinvesting the revenue generated through the AV services we offer.
