Delegate Statement

My view on the Optimistic Vision:

I consider myself aligned with the Optimistic Vision, and confident in the Collective's capacity to recognize/incentivize those with the most impact on the Optimism ecosystem. Through a process of continuous experimentation and iteration, I expect the Optimism Collective to experience exponential growth, leading to a thriving and prosperous ecosystem.

I bring my expertise from 1+ years of daily coverage for Messari's Governor product, covering over 100 DAOs from forum -> vote (Note: I am no longer employed by, or in any way affiliated with Messari).

My view on the first three articles of the Working Constitution:

  • Article 1: This is a "Working" Constitution What I find particularly inspiring about Optimism's approach to governance is its focus on continual growth, learning, and refinement. The pledge towards experimentation will undoubtedly propel the Collective's growth. Nevertheless, in keeping this pledge, it's important to establish a robust foundation for the Collective to depend on during times of challenge or opposition to these experiments.
  • Article 2: OP Citizens and OP Holders will equally coexist within the Collective. I believe that the bicameral model will provide checks and balances as intended. I look forward to seeing more defined roles and responsibilities for both.
  • Article 3: The Optimism Foundation will be a steward of the Optimism Collective and its early governance model The Foundation is key to the Collective throughout its early days. I believe the Foundation should strive to be as transparent as possible through all operations.
