Delegate Statement

I have been a member of the Bankless Ukraine community with experience in the cryptocurrency field since 2021. My goal is to support decentralized finance and popularize Web3 technologies for the Ukrainian-speaking audience. As a translator into Ukrainian and Polish, I am actively promoting knowledge about blockchain and Optimism to a wider audience. By supporting Optimism, I believe in the power of Layer 2 solutions to create an affordable and scalable Ethereum, allowing even more people to join the decentralized ecosystem. As a delegate, I am committed to representing the community and contributing to building a fair and inclusive Web3.

Top Issues

Treasury management
Treasury management
On treasury management, I believe in a balanced approach that prioritizes sustainability, transparency, and growth. Treasury management in the crypto space is especially complex, given the volatility of assets and the evolving regulatory landscape, but it's also full of potential. Effective treasury management should prioritize the long-term health of the ecosystem, ensuring that funds are allocated toward development, community growth, and partnerships that drive meaningful impact. Diversification of assets—across stablecoins, native tokens, and low-risk investments—can help protect against market swings while providing liquidity for strategic initiatives. Additionally, transparency is crucial. Open communication with the community builds trust and allows for collective decision-making, fostering a sense of shared ownership. Treasury management should be seen not just as a financial responsibility but as a strategic tool for reinforcing the values and goals of the project. Ultimately, I believe that thoughtful, adaptive treasury management can provide a strong foundation for sustained growth and innovation.
Grant funding
Grant funding
On grant funding, I believe it should serve as a catalyst for innovation, community empowerment, and ecosystem growth. Grants are powerful tools that can foster creativity, support early-stage projects, and incentivize contributions from diverse participants, especially in decentralized communities. Effective grant funding should be aligned with the core mission and values of the ecosystem. Funding decisions should prioritize projects that bring real value, whether through technological advancements, community engagement, educational resources, or tooling that enhances accessibility. A balanced approach involves supporting both high-potential, high-impact projects and smaller, grassroots initiatives that can nurture community resilience. Transparency in the grant process is also crucial, ensuring applicants and the community understand funding priorities and how decisions are made. Providing clear, fair guidelines and offering feedback to applicants—whether successful or not—builds trust and encourages ongoing participation. Overall, I believe that thoughtful grant funding, combined with accountability and alignment with community goals, can drive sustained progress and empower a broad range of contributors to shape the ecosystem’s future.
