Delegate Statement

I chose to be a delegate because OP is building consistently towards being an enabler for a next internet, I want to help build it. I have experience with other governances and helped design and create DAOs on OP with a lot of different tools.

My view on the Optimistic Vision: The view of forking broken systems to make them better, then rewarding creators of this improvement through the fork itself, is a better internet I want to build.

My view on articles 1, 2 and 3 of the Working Constitution:

  1. I believe in the power(and beauty) of experimentation. I am not sure if a permanent constitution is gonna be possible in as short as 4 years. It will need change again, I’m curious to see what process we create to manage that.
  2. The bicameral system seems efficient without giving as much trouble for it as I'd expect, there're short comings on delegate/badge holder centralization but I guess those will be economically pressured towards distribution by the super chain growth.
  3. The foundation and its structure seem very well stablished to play their role with clear checks against any exceeding of the given power. It's great to see advances and I'd love to support the Path to Open Metagovernance (https://gov.optimism.io/t/the-path-to-open-metagovernance/7728). There're of courses checks and liabilities in any type of institutional settling, I hope to learn a bit of how something the size of OP is managed legally.

Money doesn't grow on trees, grows on fees ;) Treasury should be managed with "medium-long term" vision and always focused on impact builders.
