Delegate Statement

Swell is committed to contributing to the growth, resilience, and decentralization of the Optimism ecosystem. As an active participant in the Optimism Superchain initiative, Swell aims to support Ethereum's scalability, efficiency, and accessibility through its L2 integration.

Our mission is to build on the Superchain framework to create a seamless, efficient, and interoperable Ethereum ecosystem. We align with Optimism's core principles of scalability, decentralization, and public good funding through the RetroPGF mechanism. We believe in fostering open collaboration and building infrastructure that benefits the entire ecosystem.

Key Focus Areas:

Superchain Integration: Swell is actively contributing to the Superchain with the launch of Swell L2, designed to bring Proof Of Restake to the Superchain.
Decentralization & Security: Advocate for the use of minority clients, underrepresented geographies, and local data centers for our restaking products and partners.
Sustainable Growth: Support initiatives that promote sustainable network and TVL growth for long-term ecosystem health.
Public Goods: Champion funding for projects that improve Ethereum's infrastructure and benefit the broader community.
Interoperability: Contribute to the development of interoperable protocols that connect different layers of the Superchain for seamless communication and transactions.

Commitments as a Delegate:

Active Participation: Attend governance meetings, engage in discussions, and contribute to proposal reviews.
Transparency: Communicate our voting rationale clearly to the community.
Long-Term Vision: Support proposals that prioritize long-term ecosystem benefits over short-term gains.
