About LXDAO
LXDAO is an R&D-focused DAO dedicated to supporting the sustainable development of Web3 public goods and open-source projects. "LX" stands for "Conscience and Integrity," reflecting our core values and culture, and embodying the long-term vision of our idealistic builder community. We believe that Web3 public goods will become the cornerstone of the future internet world. Despite the current lack of infrastructure and development, we are committed to being the best builders in this space.
Our Mission and Values
Our mission is to gather the power of builders to continuously support and develop valuable Web3 public goods and open-source projects. We uphold the following core values:
- Decentralized Governance: LXDAO adopts a governance model based on Optimism’s SBT (Soulbound Token) Card, implementing a one-person-one-vote system. All decisions are made through voting by community members.
- Long-term Vision: Our operations and decisions focus on long-term development rather than short-term gains.
- Transparency and Openness: LXDAO operates transparently and openly; anyone can review our decisions, budgets, and operations.
- Contribution Rewards: We reward members who provide value to the community by incentivizing their contributions through stablecoins and Proof of Contribution (LXP).
- Community-Driven Development: The development direction of LXDAO is collectively determined by community members, who can propose and vote on various proposals, including working group proposals and project proposals.
Our Commitment to the Optimism Ecosystem
As an R&D-Focused DAO, LXDAO Actively Contributes to the Optimism Ecosystem, LXDAO plays an active role in the Optimism ecosystem by supporting the sustainable development of public goods and open-source projects. Recognized for our contributions, we received rewards in RetroPGF#3. Moving forward, we will focus on building a self-sustaining cycle for Web3 public goods and open-source projects, while advancing governance models and technological innovations for decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).
Through the provision of high-quality educational resources and technical support, we aim to cultivate a new generation of Web3 builders and foster the long-term prosperity of the Optimism ecosystem.
We actively participate in governance discussions to ensure that the community’s voice is adequately represented in decision-making processes. Furthermore, we promote the adoption and application of Optimism technology by organizing workshops, developer training sessions, and community events.
