Onchain Clarity Company's mission is "Make Crypto Multiplayer"

Blockchains are inherently open canvases, allowing anyone to interact with the same core base of information and build a consistent identity through time. However, modern user experience doesn't reflect this - social platforms are isolated, identity is often ambiguous, and our thesis is this lack of connectivity frequently impacts how we behave.

Onchain Clarity Co., through our various projects, strives to bring blockchain to life. Using some of the many large and growing social protocols, such as Farcaster, ENS, and more, we can piece together a more holistic picture of what the network is up to, starting by surfacing more of your connections to other people.

This is the framing that we use to guide all our DAO votes.

Top Issues

Treasury management

OCC believes that the Optimism treasury should be strategically used to fund novel ideas that advance the ecosystem socially by growing network effects. Investments should be targeted towards projects that bring new users onchain, thus expanding the reach and possibilities of the OP Superchain.

Grant funding

OCC believes that grants should act as strategic bets on individuals and teams that create meaningful impact. By taking many shots on goal, Optimism builds quality relationships across the board and retains the builders they invested in during their early stages.

Public goods

OCC believes that supporting and investing in public goods brings valuable infrastructure and insight to the OP Superchain that wouldn't otherwise be possible without grants. OCC support Public Goods Grants programs that look to award impactful contributions.
