Delegate Statement

I want to become a delegate because I have extensive knowledge of Ethereum, L2s, and DeFi, and I am an active member of several communities.

I support all scaling solutions, including Optimism, because they share a common vision that aligns with my values.

I believe that the Optimistic Vision represents a new approach to governance in both Cyberspace and the physical world. By emphasizing ownership and rewards, it can attract talented individuals to work on problems that benefit the collective. In the context of Web3, it is essential to incentivize groups to build public goods. The Optimistic Vision provides a clear direction for builders to work towards, pushing against short-term thinking in favor of long-term value creation and compounding.

The Optimistic Vision proposes that both OP Citizens and OP Holders will coexist within the Collective on equal terms. It's crucial that short-term incentives and long-term visions are aligned, and we are excited to see how OP Governance and OP Citizenship will work together. The bicameral model has a proven track record, as evidenced by its success in Sparta, and we believe it holds a lot of potential for the Optimistic Vision. I agree with the first three articles of the Working Constitution, particularly the flexibility that Article 1 offers in a rapidly changing ecosystem.
